Every member of the marketplace will be triple verified by their identity, their address and their routes, before they are eligible for suggested matches.

Trip matches are only suggested. Who you choose to share trips with is always up to you. Sometimes the matches we suggest will be with people you already know – but they’ll always be with other members who have been verified to travel along similar routes in your community.

We place the highest priority on every member’s privacy. Home addresses and the complete routes of shared trips are never visible to other members of the Roam™ community. Only pickup locations, which are chosen by the trip driver, and located a few turns away from where the trip starts, are shared, and only with those who have already agreed to travel together.

Local, community-based carpooling means sharing trips with others who also value your shared communities. Rideselling has made our streets increasingly dangerous by putting pressure on contracted drivers to make a living, but no one will ever try to make a living with true ridesharing. You’ll go only to the places you already go, and taking local riders for part of the trip.
